Côte de Nuits

The northern half of burgundy’s famous côte d’or..

Côte de Nuits runs from Dijon down to the village of Nuits-St-Georges, from which it gets its name. Along the way, it offers the famous wine communes of Gevrey-Chambertin, Morey-St-Denis, Chambolle-Musigny, Vougeot, Vosne-Romanée, and Flagey-Echezeaux. Pinot Noir is the star here, as these vineyards produce the greatest red wines of Burgundy, and perhaps, of the world.
